Just a few days ago, the learning toy juggernaut, VTech, announced the expansion of its successful Baby, Infant, Toddler and Preschool lines. This will feature a selection of new products that enrich children’s play experiences while encouraging them to meet essential developmental milestones. So, in light of this recent news, I thought I’d compile a list of my picks for the the top VTech learning toys.
VTech Turn and Learn Driver
First on my list of top VTech learning toys for your kids – This fun driving simulator will get your little Mario Andretti ready for the road, with the fun sound effects and easy-to-push buttons. Develop your baby’s imagination, as they have fun shifting gears, trying the different noises, and honking the horn.
The Turn and Learn Driver is recommended for children ages 6 months to 3 years. This is great toy for your newly sitting baby, but one he or she will enjoy for many months after that key milestone.

VTech Sort & Discover Activity Cube
Rated for children 9 months to 3 years, this interactive cube will keep your rugrat entertained for hours (obviously not at a time, because at this age nothing keeps their attention for more than 3 minutes). This toy is great for your child’s development. Each side of the cube offers new challenges and learning opportunities. It has things to press, flip, slide, turn and more. Equipped with over 70 songs, phrases and tunes, it is great for those sensory skills that are quickly developing at this age.
Check out this fun activity cube and see if your kid loves it.
VTech Sit-to-Stand Learning Walker
The Sit-to-Stand is recommended for children ages 9 months to 3 years and is just one of the VTech options in their Sit-to-Stand series. These toys are designed so they can grow with your baby. When your baby is able to sit, he or she can enjoy all the buttons and sounds on the activity panel.
The learning and musical modes will engage your baby and help them learn shapes, colors, sounds and more.
Once your baby is able to stand, you can attach the activity panel to the walker portion of the toy. Now this toy becomes a great tool to help your baby learn to pull up, stand, and start to take some steps.
You are able to lock it, so they cannot move it when you don’t want them to.
The VTech Sit-to-Stand Learning Walker is currently the best seller on Amazon.
VTech Ring and Learn Cash Register
Ring up this one next on our list of top VTech learning toys. See what I did there?
Your little one will love this interactive cash register. This toy helps your child learn about numbers, colors, healthy foods and more. With over 80 different songs and phrases, this will entertain your child, while teaching them basic vocabulary and other fundamental skills.
This toy is intended for children ages 1 to 3 years old. It does come with several pieces of small plastic food, so I wouldn’t recommend this for children under the age of 1, although the pieces are probably too big for your baby’s mouth. Expand your child’s imagination with this fun cash register.
VTech Chomp and Count Dino
Every time I see this toy, I start hearing the theme song from Denver The Last Dinosaur in my head. Anyone? Come on, Denver was your “friend and a whole lot more.” Okay, moving on. This fun dino toy helps teach your kid how to count, while entertaining him or her with bright lights and fun music. Rated for children 1 to 3 years old, this Dinobot has over 130 different musical numbers, melodies and phrases. The interactive reptilian asks you to put certain foods in his mouth, teaching your kid specific foods and colors. As your child gets better at walking, they can also pull this little guy along on its rope. Fun in any room! Keep up mom and dad. Check it out.
This company offers many, many more options of interactive toys. This is just a quick list of my favorites, that I highly recommend. Check out Amazon, Walmart and anywhere else you’d buy toys for more ideas. It is always great when you can find a toy that will last for months and even grow with your child. What’s your favorite?
