If you have a child in diapers, then you know the importance of a quality baby wipe. Too thin and you run the risk of it tearing or not being able to handle the mess, resulting in last night’s sweet potato puree ending up on your hand. If the wipe is too tough, it may irritate your baby’s bottom. In this review, we are looking at a natural baby wipe, from Bloom Baby.
Bloom Baby was kind enough to provide me with some of their wipes to review. While I did receive promotional materials to review, all thoughts and views in this review are my own.
Bloom Baby Wipes Review
In our household, it has been Pampers baby wipes and diapers from day 1. We’ve never had any problems and they have worked very well for us, from the first time we used them in the hospital. So I went into this Bloom Baby wipes review with the bar set pretty high. After trying the Bloom Baby wipes for a few days, I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised.
The Bloom Baby wipes actually have a better quality feel to them when compared to the Pampers wipes. When you stretch the 2 different wipes with your hands, you can just feel the better strength in Bloom Baby ones. They feel more resilient and take more pull before they start to tear.
For everyday use they were great. They were soft enough, durable, and they cleaned up your normal #1 and #2’s without any problems.
But, how did they stand up against the inevitable and ill-timed “blow out?”
Every parent knows that your child loves to pick the most inopportune times to gift you with the most disgusting and messy bowel movement that they can conjure up. This happened with us on the way to dinner one evening. I’ll spare you the details, but let’s just say it was everywhere. The Bloom wipes worked very well. With them being a little bit larger than your standard baby wipe, you are able to get more “mess” with one wipe.

How Do Bloom Baby Wipes Do When Compared To Pampers?
On Amazon, you can find Bloom Baby wipes in a couple different options.
- 640 Count: $27.40
- 249 Count: $13.99
- 80 Count: $7.99
To use Pampers, again, for reference – On Amazon, there are several options, but you can get Pampers Sensitives in the following options.
- 808 Count: $40.00
- 576 Count: $14.39
- 320 Count: $8.39
So cost per wipe definitely goes to Pampers. But, I guess it all depends on what you value you more. If you want a more natural option, then you may find the Bloom Baby wipes are worth the extra dollars. If you are on a budget, like a lot of new parents are, then it may all come down to the nickels & dimes. You can’t make a wrong choice with either of these wipes.
I was a fan of the Bloom Baby wipes and I would honestly purchase them in the in the future. I felt like the quality and feel of the wipe was much better than the Pampers and, being a larger wipe, they did better at cleaning up messes. Again, we’ve been using Pampers since the beginning and I still think they are an amazing wipe. There is a reason that hospitals use them and recommend them to new parents.
Give Bloom Baby a go and see what you think of their natural wipes.
